Travels: Beijing, China

We visited Beijing in the spring of 2015. This visit provided the opportunity to visit relatives, try out delicious eateries, and bask in the rich culture of this city. My personal hunt for the famed Peking duck was an exciting success, from Quanjude to Da Dong, where the duck is roasted in a wood-fired oven. From the Forbidden City to the Great Wall, the sights were humbling and inspiring. A visit to a traditional Chinese tea house rounded this wonderful trip.

Restaurant recommendations:

  • Quanjude
  • Da Dong
  • Lao She
